Hi- I’m Danielle, an east coast girl from NC/VA who made my
way to Colorado in June of 2012.
Why? Why not?
After I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in HNFE
(short for human nutrition, food and exercise), I completed my accredited dietetic
internship from East Carolina University to become a dietitian. I needed a
change, so after graduation I wanted to do something adventurous, to try
something new, so I moved to Colorado without knowing a soul.
While I’m still working on my Masters (hoping to graduate in
May 2013), I’m currently a nanny for two WONDERFUL kids, who have a great
appetite and will try just about anything.
On a Whim is about my new adventures of Colorado along with
recipes of my favorite dishes!
I’m a non-spontaneous 23 year old that moved to Colorado, on a whim. After graduating from my dietetic internship, I needed a change from the east coast and ended up in the beautiful mountains. I’m currently obsessed with learning about photography, wine and beer, and of course, cooking and food
